Meta

Airy offered a range of software and engineering services, alongside custom-developed physics intellectual property, to provide valuable assistance to Meta Reality Labs in the design and production of the innovative "Pancake" lenses for both the Meta Quest Pro and Quest 3.

These newly designed lenses are notably lighter and more compact in comparison to their traditional "frenels" counterparts.

The integration of advanced 3D polarization physics plays a crucial role in the ongoing development of next-generation augmented reality and virtual reality display technology, enhancing user experience and visual fidelity.

Nalux

Developed innovative stress birefringence algorithms for high-volume injection molded optics for Nalux, reducing manufacturing costs while maintaining performance.

ASML

ASML’s advanced lithography systems achieve overlay performance below 2 nm by precisely positioning wafers. Initially placed with 80 micrometers precision, the systems further refine this to sub-nanometer accuracy using an optical alignment sensor that reads 'alignment marks' on the wafer.

Polarization effects, at this level of precision, must be accurately controlled to prevent errors in alignment. Airy provided the polarization simulation solution ASML needed. Aligning lithography to the nanometer
